Thanks to my being home, and our daughter's good behavior at school, we did lunch at Sonic. I tried the watermelon slushee for the first time, and it wasn't bad at all. It got me thinking and comparing on completely ridiculous things, so of course I have to share.
[Poll #1393307]
I came to the conclusion that Slushees rule. Period. I like the larger ice chips/nuggets that make slushees more drinkable than icees. I love the fruity flavors like orange, grape, and lime. Oooh, the lime. I have a wonderful memory from my best friend's wedding in Victoria, TX. It was hot-hot-hot, and we took a break from the rehearsal and popped into a Sonic and I had a *huge* lime slushee. It's not like I don't like icees, as I love the cola flavors, but I suck all the flavor numminess too quickly and I just have flavorless ice-sand left over.
