Strange things today. Last night the power went out, but not for very long. Long enough, though, to knock out our internet (and also VOIP phone) and cause a hassle. Couple that with flaky cell reception at our abode, and I was not having a thrilling late morning. The main power was fine, but the backup power seemed to be confused, and that was enough to leave us without service. I called tech support on the cell phone, and was cut off about a half dozen times due to weak reception. I had to schedule a technician to come out tomorrow morning, meaning I'd lose money because their equipment wasn't working. Greeeeeeat.

Then, another power outage happened. It only lasted about a minute. When the lights came back on, *boom!* we had teh intarwebs again. Yaaay! So, I get on the phone to call tech service to kindly cancel the visit just so recently scheduled.

Said call was nearly over, the guy was going over why service was being cancelled.... when yet another power outage cut us both off.

WTF??
