Ok, my original hope for this season before looking at the schedule was that we could improve our wins to 6, maybe even 7 if we got lucky or damn good. However, with our division matched up with the NFC South, I'm afraid 4 wins will be optimistic. Tampa Bay trashed us in preseason, and I think they'll do the same the next time. I hate that I'm a Saints fan, too, but there it is. Atlanta will be tough, especially if Vick's back in. The only win I see plausable is against Carolina. We're also up against the AFC East, which has been touted as one of the toughest divisions for this year. Whee. Hmmm, maybe we can get lucky again agianst Miami with Griese out and start out 1-0 again. Who knows.

It's hard to predict because the new O-line is untested yet in the regular season. How will Carr-to-Andre work out? Can we avoid oodles of sacks this year, please? And will our defense hold up and/or improve? I hate to say it, but I think we'll have to be patient again this year. Anyone talking about expecting 6 or more wins this year is totally unreasonable. I think the team is building smartly (how does that Drew Henson draft choice look noooow?), and maybe next year we can start making a run for contention. This year? 4-12 again. I just hope we don't get bit by the injury bug. And I'd like to see some cool highlights on ESPN. :-)
