As I was saying, we successfully closed on our house in Allison Park today, despite the numbnut FHA assessor, who has five too many letters in her occupation. The owner clearly was going to be miss the house, but we were told, "If anyone's going to buy it, I want it to be them." We also unexpectedly recieved a lovely congratultions card from our agent, and a gift card for Home Depot! Woo-hoo! She's been so good to us, despite random flakiness here and there. She wants us to keep in touch and warns of unexpected drop-ins to see how we're doing. :-)

In fact, as we speak my sweetie is over at the new house with cleaning supplies. And I bet she's squeeing. Right now. She won't admit it, but she squeed. Just ask

ommkarja today for the card we recieved at the new house today, before we closed, offering us the warmest wishes and congratulations. Sara, you rock. We're putting that card up in the house once we find a place for it, because it's the first piece of mail we've recieved there. We miss you bunches and bunches.
