The last set should've been 8. I knew I wasn't going to make it when I struggled through the previous two sets of 5. But I did, technically, do one more good-form push-up today than I did Wednesday. Yay.

At this point I need to do another exhaustion test before getting to week 3 of the program. (I repeated week 1) The minimum number of push-ups I need to do to move on is 16. O_o The program says to repeat the week that I struggled with, so if I fail gloriously, I'll do week 2 again. Hey, it worked for week 1.

I don't like the questions of doubt and inadequacy about repeating weeks. I mean, it was designed as a six week program, right? Theoretically, people out there have *done* this in six weeks, right? Right, [livejournal.com profile] tommx? Right [livejournal.com profile] clemente? I know- progress is progress, it's not the destination it's the journey. And I'm on it. It's hard to shake feeling like there's something wrong because I'm not keeping up like it's designed to.

There. Done. I'll do the exhaustion test Saturday night so I can rest up for Monday.
