Ok, so lstrobel's daycare had coffee brewed by the time we dropped her off... I'm really hoping the second cup will do the trick. 'Bout ready to just curl up right now as it is.

Post work-day recall

I'm sitting in front of the pooter, just vegging right now. I know there's something I oughta be doing instead of this. Oh yeah, laundry down stairs, continue reconciling checkbook, get drink, fold said laundry, shower........I'll get to it........

Pooky butt went down for bed easily tonight. It's been better the last couple of nights, with no screaming and no staying awake for an hour or two afterward playing. She got to eat dinner on the couch and watch Sesame Street. Sweet deal for a toddler. :-)

I'm actively composing now, but not really giving it much concentrated time. Should fix that. I'm writing a women's anthem for my church, which shall be a capella. Well, since I've written two men's anthems (one of 'em was arranged, really) I figured it's high time to do the same for the ladies. And our women's section has grown by four, and the quality has also improved. Perfect timing! I am writing a Miserere which will probably wind up in some form in my Gloria. I'm taking the text directly from the general Mass. I got the inspiration from it after the Pope died. It just happened. It seemed like the proper thing to do. So I'm just now working it out after sketching the intro before school let out in June. I hope to have it done in a couple of weeks, and I can if I actually sit down and compose for more than 10 minutes at a time.

I got my HS choir to sing harmony today. Almost like pulling teeth. It's gotta get better. I'm not gonna let 'em suck on my watch. Not gonna. Hear me??!

Goin' on a quest for fizzy water for my sweetie.
