Update #1

My choral works were rejected by Lorenz, so I'm sending them off to Shawnee Press. However, I've decided to make a couple of alterations to the printed format so that it's more in line with their specified suggestions. If I can get those done this week, I'll send it out next week.

The other good news is that my church choir director is helping me out with places to send for publishing; he's upset at the current "dumbing down" trend he sees in church music. Things are less and less challenging, which means publishers are looking for easy stuff to churn out. We'll see.

Update #2

I visited our drummer, Erich, in the hospital earlier today. His fianceé Jamie was there, camped out with him. He's off the respirator, is doing better, but seemed to not be feeling so hot at the time.
