(no subject)

I am very thankful for bbahor for taking in fiannaharpar to her doctor's appointment this morning, as I actually got to sub for the middle school band and teach elementary instrumental lessons today. Everything was ok at the doctor's, and I'm told there's a sonogram picture of the kid's little foot! Can't wait to see it.

Middle school kids can be very sweet. They can also be little deranged nutcases. I dealt with both today. The day went fine, overall, but it seems as the kids go from 6th to 8th grade, they get much more into this whole concept of "attitude". I know, it's normal, and it's not like they were running around out of control; they weren't. It's a good school with good kids. But some of 'em are still nutcases.
