Blasts from the past

gypsymila, spacemangroove, and euay for stopping by and hanging for the later part of the evening. No, the blasts came in the form of pulling out Frequency and Amplitude, forerunners of Guitar Hero. Dude, hadn't played those since much before we moved to the new house, which is probably at least two years.
lstrobel and I had... a day. Will post on that later.

So, with fiannaharpar in DC until tomorrow whilst at chite's baby shower (Hi Lynne!!!), I will be bachelawr-man this evening. I seem to recall this thing called a "PS2" that we own, and items once known as "video games" that can be used with it. Anyone available this evening to help me remember? :-) Food, maybe even dinner, can be a part of the arrangement.

On a different note (ha-ha)
I've been playing "Guitar Hero" enough now that my left thumb muscle feels stronger. I can grip the guitar neck strongly for longer, even when I feel the lactic acid build up. So far I'm on Medium level, second tier of songs. I've bought the Freezepop song (which is great, but a bitch to play!) and some others, and am using the "can-opener" guitar with an awesome snake-skin finish. Hee-hee...

Birthday breakdown

My enjoyment of NFL2K5 has skyrocketed since I changed the setting from "pro" to "rookie". I even whooped David Arquette's ass on the challenge. It's nice to feel competent.
